Institute of Management Studies ,Ghaziabad has organise a workshop ?Introduction to Basics of Research Methods on 11-09-2018. This workshop has been organized for the students of MIB first year. The objective of this workshop was to enlightened the students with basic concepts of Quantitative Research tools and 50 students attended the workshop. Topics Covered 1. Defining research problem 2. Developing an approach to research problem and selection of suitable research design. 3. Formulation and testing of hypothesis based on the nature of research. 4. To comprehend appropriateness of statistical software packages for analysing research data. School of Management extended a note of gratitude to Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director, IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus, for her wonderful initiatives. Prof Kapil Mohan Garg, Prof. Abhinav Kataria, and other faculty members also spared their valuable time for the workshop. Prof Ashish Srivastva, Assistant Professor, the resource person for the workshop encouraged the budding managers to push themselves further in the field of academic research.
