IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized 'Genesis-2018' on 12th October 2018. It is an Inter-Institutional Bio-sciences Fest and an ideal scientific platform for young students and budding researchers from various reputed schools and colleges of Delhi-NCR to share new ideas, creativity, scientific information, and innovative technologies.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. S.K. Garg (Former Vice-Chancellor- Veterinary University Mathura) Guest of Honor, Dr. P. K. Srivastava (Former Deputy Director CDRI Lucknow) and presided over by Dr. Sapna Rakesh (Director, IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus). All the dignitaries addressed the participants and encouraged them towards methods of scientific learning.

More than 400 students from 40 schools and colleges including Ghaziabad, Meerut, Moradabad, Noida, and Greater Noida actively participated in the various competitions like Sci-toon, Extempore, Knockdown, Sci-Quest, and Big Splash. Winners in each category were awarded medals, trophies and merit certificates by the Dr. Sapna Rakesh(Director, IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus) and Dr. Abha Vashistha (Chairperson, Bio-sciences)

Genesis 2018 was a huge success in connecting young minds to applied sciences in an extremely inspirational manner.
