Entrepreneurship Cell (E Cell) at IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organised a Business Plan Competition for its budding entrepreneurs on October 26, 2018. The event aimed to provide a platform to the students of IMS across all departments who aspire to nurture their idea into a viable business option in near future. Overall 14 teams had registered for participation and after the screening round 8 teams were shortlisted to present their Business Plan in front of the esteemed panel of judges.

The jury comprised of an External Judge Mr Neeraj Tyagi, Managing Partner, Venture Catalysts Pvt. Ltd, and two internal judge Dr Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA programme and Dr Gagan Varshney, Chairperson-BCA programme. The judges not only evaluated each plan on the criteria of technical and financial viability but also provided insights about the details in which investors are interested to fund any business idea.

The 1st Position was bagged by Mr Kislay Jha (BCA IInd Year) followed by Ms Yachna Sharma & Ms Shagun Garg (BBA IInd Year) in the 2nd Position. Mr. Ankur Verma & Mr. Abhishek Gupta (BBA & BCA IInd Year) secured the 3rd Position. Special appreciation was given by the judges to the E Cell members Rishabh Bhatnagar, Riya Agarwal, Atal Tiwari, Kashish Shishodia, Nipun Gupta and Kislay Jha for their untiring effort in organizing the event and making it a success.
