An Industrial Visit to Ananda Milk Factory, Pilkhuwa, Hapur was organized by the School of Biosciences, IMS University Courses Campus for graduate students of Microbiology on October 26, 2018. Beyond the academic's, industrial visits provide a practical perspective to the students; it helps to combine the theoretical knowledge with the industrial exposure. The visit of plant was initiated by brief presentation about the company, its history and global manifestation. During the presentation students were facilitated by Ananda flavored drinks and snacks. After the presentation students were taken to the plant where they explored entire manufacturing unit starting from milk collection unit to products manufacturing followed by quality control to molding unit and finally to packaging.

With this visit students explored the relevance of Microbiology for the manufacturing process and they also got to know the real working environment of the industry. All the students expressed their gratitude to the officials for the opportunity given. This visit was highly useful for the students in terms of practical knowledge and to find the placement opportunities in such industries.
