IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organized a visit to DLF Mall, Noida on October 30th, 2018 (Tuesday) for the students of Retail and Marketing specialization of BBA 2nd year. The main objective of this visit was to provide the practical exposure to students about the recent happening in retail industry.

The students where given assignment on Visual Merchandising, Store Design and Layout and modern functioning of departmental stores, retail outlets and multiple chain stores. The faculty incharge with this visit were Dr. Kumar Saurav and Professor Shenki Tyagi. During visit students explored various stores like Holii, Puma, Hamley, Taghieur and took interview of the store managers and department managers on the basis of their pre designed questionnaire and prepared reports on their experiences.

They studied various innovated modern trends in retailing like significance of particular design, themes, schemes, colors, lightning, fixtures, hologram and fittings and measured the success story of the stores. The visit was a great experience for the students in the field of retailing and visual merchandising and this learning experience will surely help them in their future endeavors. Students will have to give presentation on the basis of their learning experience during visit.
