Every formal education is completed when the scholar is conferred with the degree that he has earned with his diligence and sincerity. IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized CONVOCATION'2018 on 28th December 2018. The Chief Guest for the day was Honourable Shri Kummanam Rajasekharan Ji (Governor-Mizoram) and the Guest of Honor Shri. Jayant Krishna Ji (Executive Director & COO of National Skill Development Corporation) and Mr. Saurabh Dwivedi (Editor & Anchor - Aaj Tak Lallantop Series). Other Key Executive Council Members who graced their presence in event were Shri Sanjay Agarwal Ji (Chairman,IMS Group of Institutions), Shri Ramesh Chaudhary Ji (General Secretary, IMS Group of Institutions), Shri Rakesh Chharia Ji (Treasurer, IMS Group of Institutions) along with other Executive Members entailing - Shri Rajeev Chaudhary Ji, Shri Sudhir Chaudhary Ji, Shri Apurve Goel Ji and Shri Vidur Chharia Ji. The students were lucky to be blessed with the presence of Shri Ajay Jain Ji (Director, IMS Ghaziabad - Lal Kaun) and Shri Deepak Jindal Ji (Delivery Manager - SAP HANA).

The Convocation began with a majestic and grand academic procession followed by the National Anthem and blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Dr Sapna Rakesh (Director- IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) delivered the Director's Report by highlighting the enriched Advisory Board (Comprising of people from Industry, Government & Corporate) and the plethora of new & diverse initiatives taken by the institution, entailing - Global Exposure in terms of Internships, Placements Model of United Nations Conference & Global Immersion Program; Value-added Modules, Introduction of AaSHA - The Joint Retail Certification, Specializations Modules including NCFM & NISM Certifications, Campus Radio, IMS Today, Various Inter-Institutional Fests, 21 Student-driven Club Activities, Skill based Education, Workshops & Seminars, Flip Teaching, Case-based Teaching, FDP's, Alumni Associations and many more.

The program proceeded by scintillating Award Ceremony by conferring Gold, Silver and Bronze medal to the meritorious students followed by distribution of degrees to the students of respective courses conducted by Dr. Geeti Sharma (Chairperson BBA - IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus). An oath ceremony was conducted by Prof. Priyanka Sadhna Career Development Centre - IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus). The students took an oath of being better and responsible citizen along with the tag of the graduate.
