"Communication-the human connecting-is the key to personal and career success"-Paul J Meyer

IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised Buzz Communication week from February 4,2019 to February 8,2019 .The objective of this to bring the awareness among the students on importance of communication and how it helps them to enhance their communication skills. The various activities are Word o Word, Blind Fold, Musical Puzzle, Scribble, Google it, Newspaper Game, Dumb Charade, Tongue Twisters, Guess the brand and Synonyms vs Antonyms. More than 150 + students actively participated in each activity wholeheartedly each day and learned about the various ways that helps them in enhancing their communication skills.

Day 1 February 4, 2019 (Monday)
The event was initiated by the grand opening in presence of Director, Chairpersons, Faculty members and students. Dr. Sapna Rakesh (Director, IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus) , Dr.Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA Program and Dr.Shilpi Sarna, Coordinator BBA I year congratulated the students for taking up this initiative and motivated them towards their learning and achievement. Students, faculty members participated in Word o Word where participants were given a word and they have to make as many words as they can in 60 seconds and Musical puzzle, where the lyrics of famous Hollywood and Bollywood songs were jumbled, the participants had to first arrange the song in sequence at and was been asked to sing the same in 60 seconds. Both the activities witnessed more than 300 participation from the students of various courses.

Day 2 February 5, 2019 (Tuesday)
The day 2 began with the activities Tongue Twisters where students were being asked to read a sentence and certain words frequently in 60 seconds and Google it where students were being asked to tell the meaning of typical words in 30 seconds. Participants were rewarded with a small gift and candy to appreciate their efforts.Both the activities witnessed more than 250 participation from the students of various courses.

Day 3 February 6, 2019 (Wednesday)
The day 3 began with Dumb Charade, Team Game where students were being asked to guess the names of famous Personalities and famous Hollywood and Bollywood movies. The one person has to act and other person has to guess in 60 seconds.The other activity was Guess the Brand name with Tagline where students were being given a tagline of various famous brands and students were asked to tell the company name in 30 seconds. Participants were rewarded with a small gift and candy to appreciate their efforts.Both the activities witnessed more than 300 participation from the students of various courses.

Day 4 February 7, 2019 (Thursday)
The day 4 began with Newspaper Game where students had to select a letter out of jumbled alphabets and they were asked to find out the as many words as they can from the newspaper in 60 seconds. The other activity was Scribble where students were being given a small puzzle and they were asked to find out the words in that puzzle in 60 seconds. Participants were rewarded with a small gift and candy to appreciate their efforts.Both the activities witnessed more than 200 participation from the students of various courses.

Day 5 February 8, 2019 (Friday)
The day 5 began with Blind o Fold , Team Game where both the participants were blind folded, one participant had to pick the object from box and he had to narrate the specifications of same to other participant who had to guess the same in 60 seconds.The other activity was Synonyms and Antonyms where participants were asked to write the right antonyms and synonyms in stipulated time.Participants were rewarded with a small gift and candy to appreciate their efforts.Both the activities witnessed more than 250 participation from the students of various courses. The buzz communication week ended with a closing ceremony in presence of Dr.Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA Program, Dr.Indrani Bhattacharji, Coordinator BBA 3 year, Prof.Santosh Shah who congratulated the BBA I year students for their initiative and successfully organising various activities that will help them in enhancing their communication skills. The coordinators were felicitated with the appreciation letter a memento for their hard work and dedication for making this event a grand success.
