CDC organized 'Career Enrichment Talk' on the topic - 'The Sales and Marketing Career Path' on 13 February 2019. The Talk acted as a catalyst to help the students further clarify and evaluate their current positions regarding careers in sales and marketing profile.
The Talk accentuated on information for having better apprehensions associated with sales and marketing careers. Mr. Sunil Sharma, Deputy General Manager, Dabur India was invited to share his point of view with the students. More than 25 questions were answered by him for the students of BBA and BCA. He discussed number of positions, career pathways and practical knowledge in the age of new social media. His learning reflected the need for professional development for continuous improvement. Students got to know about diverse range of skills required in sales and marketing arena. He also shared the expected set of skill set from recruiters' end.
Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director- IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus appreciated the modus operandi and emphasized on the relevance of skill building and practical learning. Mr. Sunil Sharma congratulated all the members associated with IMS, for the initiation of specializations, clubs and value added modules. Mr. Navneet Kumar, Brand Activation Manager, Dabur India was also present and he shared the scope of Artificial Intelligence in sales and marketing. Career Enrichment Talk ended with a vote of thanks by Chairperson CDC- Ms. Priyanka Sadhna and Dean, CRC- Mr. Mandeep Singh Rawat. CDC faculty members- Ms. Anuradha and Ms. Raunak Bhardwaj executed the programmed effectively. Students appreciated the programme and showed their eagerness to participate in the next series of Career Enrichment Talk. Faculty members including Chairperson BBA- Dr. Geeti along with Dr. Kumar Saurav, Mr. Santosh, Ms. Shenki, Ms. Aastha, Mr. Abhishek Jain and Mr. Shubro Sen Gupta encouraged the students for skill development.
The student coordinators' team including Shivangi Mishra, Dhruv Dixit, Rahul Srivastava, Abhishek Thakur and Amol Mehrotra managed the entire programme efficiently. The students of EWL team - Nitin Sharma, Tanvi Kaushik, Anupam Kumar, Shubham Singh, Sumit Kumar, Sonali Mehra along with IT & Administration Team extended their support throughout the programme with unwavering attention.
