Summary of the Event: The Journalism and Mass Communication Department of IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organised a Peer Enrichment on? Info graphics Importance in Magazine? on 21-02-2019 for all BJMC faculty members. Prof. Sandhya Sharma conducted the session and explained all the details such as how to design a specific magazine, great way to break up text, add colour to a page and boost visual interest. She also told the importance of infographics as a powerful tool which can be used to allow people to easily digest information through the use of visual data, charts and statistics. With the proper use of colour, proportion, and negative space, information can be transformed into memorable, attention-grabbing and even persuasive graphics. The session was hugely interactive as the faculty members posed a lot of questions. She inspired the faculty members to produce a e-magazine with the given insight. Learning Outcome: Prof. Sandhya Sharma explained the key points regarding the info graphics of the magazine, how to design a magazine. At the end of the session, she shared her designing of the magazine experience with the faculty members. All in all, it was a great learning experience for all.
