INDUCTION PROGRAM BBA II year Students

IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised two days Induction Program to welcome BBA II Year students (2018-21) Batch on July 15 and 16, 2019.The day one began with the reporting and registration of students followed by the session with their respective class counsellors to strengthen the student-teacher bond.Various Management games were conducted to involve the faculty and students for better understanding and learning. The day 2 initiated by welcoming the students.Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director IMS University Course campus address the students on how one can build a better student portfolio as plethora of activities in the form of Interaction Sessions, Corporate-Talk Shows, Workshops, Movie Review Sessions, Conferences, Specialisations are planned for upcoming session.

IMS always believes in motivating and encouraging stu-dents and giving them platform to showcase their talent and for this students were felicitated by letter of appreciation for their efforts and performances in academic year 2018-19 under three cate-gories: Highest Attendance Award, Highest percentage in semester 1 and other contribution in the field of Research, academics and other extra curricular activities. Dr Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA Program address the students on expected code of conduct and congratulate the students on successful completion of first year. The students were also introduced to their subject faculty mem-bers who shall be taking their classes.To engage the students a session was scheduled on Manage-ment learning through movie review.Movies are a great way to extend learning beyond the class-room.There are a number of inspiring movies which teaches management and how to be a good manager and this session is an example of such effort.The movie shown was Karate Kid (2010).At the end of the session students were asked certain questions from the movie and rewarded with ex-citing gifts hampers. The session ends with lots of enthusiasm and motivation among the students
