INDUCTION PROGRAM BCA II YEAR STUDENTS

IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised one day Orientation Program to welcome BCA II Year students (2018-21) Batch on July 16, 2019. The day was initiated by welcoming the students. Dr. Gagan Varshney, Chairperson BCA Program began the session with his welcome speech filled with motivation and promoting zeal of enthusiasm in the students to take up challenges in the IT sector and congratulate the students on successful completion of first year.

CRC Address
Mr. Mandeep Singh Rawat, Dean - Corporate Affairs and Placements and Mr. Vijay Shukla, Manager-CRC, welcomed all students with his igniting thoughts about the current trends and placement opportunities in the IT sector.

CDC Address
Career Development Centre at IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus addressed the second year students in Orientation Program of BCA on 16 July 2019. Ms. Priyanka Sadhna, CDC Chairperson shared the objectives and modus operandi for the upcoming session. She also informed students to enroll for various workshops and informative sessions planned by CDC such as image management, spoken English and skill- building workshops at the earliest, as seats are limited. CDC faculty member - Ms. Sapna Kumar shared the important role of grooming etiquette in our daily chores. Faculty members - Ms. Anuradha Bhardwaj and Ms. Raunak Bhardwaj discussed the benefits associated with Toastmasters International Club at IMS. The students got to know the great learning opportunities planned in this semester for their betterment.

Fun Activities
After that number of inspiring movies was shown which teaches how to be a good thinker & team player and this session was an example of such effort. At the end of the session students asked certain questions from the movie and were rewarded with exciting gifts hampers. Various fun activities & games were conducted by faculty members to involve students for better understanding and learning.

The session ends with lots of enthusiasm and motivation among the students. All in all, it was a wonderful experience for the students which surely they would have tucked away in their memory banks to savor for years to come.
