In continuation of industry engagement initiatives, School of Information technology at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized an industrial visit to MCN Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for the students of BCA second year. Mr. Mani Gautam who is a Senior Android developer at Metispro U.S.A and also one of the speaker at C# Corner, took a session focusing on different aspects of programming languages, how one can switch from one programming language to another and later discussed about android application development. He also discussed about mixed reality, artificial intelligence and gave the live demonstration of Alexa based on artificial intelligence and Hololens , a device based on mixed reality.

The students tried to understand the technology with great enthusiasm and raised many query to which were well answered by Mr. Mani by setting appropriate examples. Another session was taken by Mr. Manish Diwedi , who is working as Project Manager in MCN Solutions. He focused on project management and also told students about the current demand of technologies in the companies like IoT, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence etc.He also guided the students about how they can prepare for interviews and what the companies expect from a fresher. Industry visits bridges the gap between Academics and Industry. It was a great learning experience for students and as they have been guided by professionals for their career path.
