IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organized "Get Set Go- For a career not for a Degree" Session during MIB Orientation Program 2019- 'Upakrama' on 3rd August 2019. The activities were planned with an objective to build familiarity among the participants while enabling them to explore their what are the option and opportunities new MIB aspirants. Mr. Vivek, India-Head Talent Acquisition, Clear Water started the session by asking the questions which were in the student's mind while taking MIB as higher education. He took this session forward with team building games where he gave a certain situation and ask them to have role play and in Sync as a team. The motives behind these games had Mind-Tongue coordination, focus, peace, and mind, team coordination. All these tasks were executed to build coordination, teamwork and focus while working in an organization. A 2-minute Pranayama Session followed by these games were conducted to teach how to control nerves.
Mr. Vivek then took questions from students regarding their career aspirations and explained them with the help of taking a real-time example from his career and experiences. With the help of a presentation, he shared some key points which are required to enter a corporate world and be successful in it. He stressed upon the importance of networking and LinkedIn.
All the aspiring managers understood the outcome of the session and also related it to managerial efficiency. Ms. Nidhi Srivastav, Mr. Komal Kapoor, Mr, Abhinav Kataria, and Mr. Kapil Mohan Garg were present in the session. The students extended a note of gratitude to the institution for sowing the seeds of confidence, self-motivation, and team dynamics.
