This psychometric analysis acted an eye opener session, which in turn triggered the students to start working on the aspects requiring immediate attention. The profiling helped the students in the following areas:
Self Awareness
Motivational Cues
Interpersonal Skills
Suitable Career Avenues
Learning Styles
Dealing with Conflict
Students were also asked to prepare a presentation for the next session on the topics taken from Harvard Business Review, Forbes ,People Matters and Economic Times such as - Building Great Workplace Relationships, Seven Steps For Creating a Culture of Innovation, Successful Brand Building, Critical Thinking, Characteristics of Leaders and many more.

Session 3
Case-based discussion through movie

In today's scenario where new pedagogies are being adapted by the institutes to develop analytical skills of the students, a case based discussion through movie is a highly adaptable style of teaching. It involves problem-based learning and facilitates interdisciplinary thinking that highlights the connections between specific academic topics, real world societal issues and applications. This increases student motivation to participate in class activities which promotes creative learning. Keeping this in mind, a case based discussion through movie had been conducted by Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee (Associate Professor, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus), on the sixth day i.e. 6th August 2019 (Tuesday), of MIB orientation programme. A movie entitled "The Intern" was shown to the budding managers with the aim to inculcate certain life and career lessons. The movie disseminated the message of Leadership, tips for handling interview questions, strategy to keep moving in life, learning from the failures and celebrating the joy of success. The movie also enabled students to analyze external opportunities present in the environment and think differently to accomplish a task in multiple ways. The last lesson learnt by the students was about dressing to impress which creates a new driving atmosphere and make them realize new points of view. Indeed it was a holistic approach to give students a hand on experience on real life management issues.
