BCA ORIENTATION DAY- 2
PRARAMBH 2019 - BCA Orientation Program Batch 2019-22


Session 1
Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organized a splendid Orientation Programme- Prarambh-2019, to formally welcome first year students of BCA Batch 2019-22 on 20th August, 2019. The Orientation Programme was designed to support new students as they begin their journey at IMSUC Campus. The Pre Lunch Session was anchored by Mr. Rajat Kumar, Student BCA II Year. The programme began with flower petal offering to Goddess of learning Maa Saraswati. The new students were acquainted to the background, vision, growth, culture and philosophy of IMSUC Campus by Chairperson BCA Dr. Gagan Varshney. The Guest of honor for the day were Ms. Shubhra Narang - Head HR with C-Zentrix and Dr. Ishan Ranjan - Vice President Apple ecosystem, He is spearheading Apple's iOS Academic Program in Higher Education for skill development in Mobile Apps. Our BCA Alumni Batch 2006-09 Ms Anchal Goel - Consultant Developer at Infogain Pvt. Ltd. also graced the occasion as our Alumni Guest of Honour.The speakers interacted with the students and gave them the insights about their own experiences, latest Technologies and how to become a good human being.

Session 2
After the flourishing completion of the inaugural ceremony and the faculty introduction, It was the time for all the pretty faces to get familiar with the college so the chairperson of our department Dr. Gagan Varshney joined the stage and concise all the students with a small presentation about the IMS and BCA department.
Further proof. Gaurav Kaushik familiarised all the students about the ERP (educational enterprise resource planning) and the app.
After this prof. Ashutosh Sharma brief the students about the ethical principles and the values that are to be served in the labs of IMSUC.
Additionally, Mr. mandeep Singh Rawat, Dean-corporate affairs and placements and Mr. Vijay Shukla, manager CRC, greets the new faces with his powerful thoughts about the current trends and placements opportunities in the IT sector.
Moving further, Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee and Dr. Nidhi Shrivastava along with the members of entrepreneurship- cell (E-cell) presented a presentation on the idea and the motive behind the E-cell.
The program ends by quoting few lines "NO MATTER HOW TINY THE SPARKS OF VICTORY ARE BUT WE IMSIANS KNOW HOW TO LIGHT THOSE SPARKS TO FLAMES" to build enthusiasm and motivation among the students. The students thoroughly enjoyed the program and had lot of fun.
