Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized BJMC Orientation Programme- ?Prarambh-2019?, to formally welcome the first-year students of BJMC Batch 2019-22 on 22nd August 2019. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a warm welcome of the Fresher?s by Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director IMS Ghaziabad. She introduced the students to their new journey at IMS and discussed academic and extracurricular activities in the institution that ensure the creative and intellectual all-round development of the students. She also motivated the students to work hard for the betterment of their personality and the institute. The new students were acquainted with the background, vision, growth, culture and philosophy of IMSUC Campus by Mr. Girish Kumar, HOD- Department of Journalism & Mass Communication. He also emphasized on the need for quality education, proper utilization of time and importance of self-discipline. Mr. Saud Mohd. Khalid, Anchor cum Producer- News 24 and Ms. Kashfi Shamail, Anchor- DD Urdu graced the occasion as Chief Guests. They addressed the gathering with their wise words and spoke about the need for young people to pursue every path with passion and a solid goal in mind. Our Alumni Mr. Anil Kumar, Anchor- Janta TV also graced the occasion as our Alumni Guest of Honour. The speakers interacted with the students and gave them insights about their own experiences. The event concluded on a scintillating note with cultural performances by students of the college dance and music societies.
