A workshop was held on 3rd September 2019 for the students of BCA 2nd year students on Web development using HTML & CSS. The guests of the day were Mr. Mohd. Shadab Khan (Corporate Trainer/Business Development Manager) & Mr. Hemant Kumar (Senior Corporate Trainer and Consultant) from Training Basket, Sector-62, Noida. They took the workshop to discuss with the students the trends in the field & writing codes in VS Code from basic level to intermediates. Mr. Shadab took up the dice to tell the students the importance of having multiple skills in our job portfolio, & the need to have Web as a skill in our CVs. The second guest of the day, Mr. Hemant further took up the session, teaching the students the introduction to HTML & CSS. He took up the concepts from basics on creating a webpages, & took it to the advanced level to inserting media, using page styling using CSS & formatting the page with different elements. Upon the end of the workshop, the Head of the Department, Dr. Gagan Varshney thanked the guests for their efforts, & presented them with saplings as a thanking gesture. The event was successful & had given the students ample opportunities to explore the basics of the Web, & to explore further in the field.
