MILAN 2K19 Department of Journalism and Mass Communication The relation between a senior and a junior is a cherished memory during the college days. To the juniors, their seniors are both a friend and a guide. That is why establishing a strong bond between them is crucial. With this view in mind, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized their MILAN 2K19 on 16th September 2019. Ramp walk, self-introduction and an extempore round were designed to ultimately select Mr. and Ms. BJMC 2019. The first-year students opened up about themselves through the introduction round. The ramp walk was nothing short of style and elegance, and the performances in the talent round were well-prepared. The atmosphere of nervousness to perform on stage was soon overcome by confidence and encouragement. Coordinated by the second-year students under the guidance of the faculty members, the event was a success. Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director, IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus), graced the occasion with her presence and advised the students against indiscipline and recklessness. The freshmen participated with utmost enthusiasm and zeal, showcasing their talents and skills. The students of second-year performed several entertaining acts such as solo and duet dance performances, singing and skits, to honour the occasion and welcome their juniors. The scintillating event eventually came to an end with Ms. Anushka and Mr. Prashant being titled as the Ms. & Mr. BJMC 2K19, and a Vote of Thanks conveyed by Ms. Aishwarya of BJMC 2nd year. The combined efforts of the entire department led to a joyous and fun-filled interaction.
