Workshop started with the wonderful welcome speech by Ms. Avantika Agarwal then she introduced speaker for the event Mr. Sunny Kichloo, Sr. Vice President at LKP Securities. Sir started the session by the attention grabbing question, then introduced us about the stock exchange & Derivative market after that he taught us about the how to do trade of the shares, about the Call and Put options, calculation of the margin, lot size which will be suited for the trading then he moves to the NSE, BSE markets (Live demonstration) ,how to handle risk , mark to market, segment of trading, BHC (Before Hair Cut), AHC (After Hair Cut), Margins of Buying and selling of the Stock, Benefit of Stop Loss, Margins Shortfall, T+2, Brokerage, Pool Account, Quarterly Settlement, Price Band, Lot Size, Cut Off, Time Band, IPO Funding and Investment, then he show the live demonstration of the stock Buying and Selling that how to buy/sell the stocks, at what margin you have to maintain for the trade, what are the benefits and he talked about the trading execution which can be broadly divided into two major categories: Intraday. Carry forward/Delivery then he ended the session with lots of question answer from the student's corner.
