Opening ceremony
The fourth edition of imsmunc'19 was inaugurated on 15th of October 2019. This year's convention focussed on the theme "culture" and aimed at providing an intellectual stimulating environment to the delegates. This year the opening day of IMSMUNC'19 witnessed participation from 21 institutes with approximately 320 delegates. The chief guests for opening ceremony was Ms. Debashree Chaudhury who is the minister of women and child welfare and the guest of honor was his highness Yogesh Punja who is the high commissioner of Fiji. There were many cultural programs by schools as well as colleges which lightened the mood of all the participants and filled everyone with zeal and enthusiasm. The guests inspired the students to think out of the box and try new things in life and utilize the opportunities given to you. This year IMSMUNC'19 allowed the delegates to learn about the culture of different nations that can ignite ideas aimed at bringing nations together by trust and peace.

UNGA
The first day of IMSMUNC'19 started off with the roll call and many formalities as the formal debate got initiated on the floor. United Nations General Assembly was a diverse committee with the active participation of eighty-five delegates. The executive board guided the delegates about the committees' proceedings. According to the United Nations General Assembly, a non-self-governing territory refers to a territory whose people are yet to attain the full measure of self-government. The motion to move to moderated caucus was failed and the committee moved to unmoderated caucus. The energy and active participation of the delegates made the session more interesting and obviously the enthusiasm of executive board was hard to define.

SUPREME COURT
The Supreme Court commenced the committee with the opening speech of delegates. Agenda for the committee was: the ram Janmbhoomi-Babri masjid dispute. First speech was given by Nirmohi Akhade followed by Ramchandra Guha who quoted "Instead of temple or mosque, there should be some schools, hospitals, college or institutes to resolve the Hindu-Muslim dispute". The best thing about the committee was that the delegates considered both the religions to be respected and they were not insulting anyone's religions. All-over the committee was an interesting one with the delegates well versed with their facts and were confident. The atmosphere was very pleasant with the outstanding executive board.

UNHRC
Being globally aware in this era of globalization is the need of an hour' UNESCO ( united Nations Educational, scientific and cultural organization) being the global specialized agency of UNITED NATION based in Paris, France has concisely shortlisted few world heritage sites promoting the structure of tradition both tangible and intangible. In the recent MUN conference while dealing with protection of cultural sites in event of armed conflict we made a remark that in the period of time occurring now there are different countries that are aggrieved on the ground of demolition of their heritage properties. In this 21st we are so self-sophisticated that we indulge ourselves to destruct domicile. Taking the agenda into consideration Iraq government has already drafted 31 articles under constitution of Iraq against terrorism. When it comes to protocol and policies by UN it's elaborated that each state shall act to protect their heritage sites against armed attack. While keeping hypothetical situation in mind the society wonders how can an armed restrict insolvent force can disturb the heritage sites discovered by UNESCO so far.

UNSC
The committee was rather an intellectual one except for the time period provided for un-moderated caucus. The committee was gifted with the slyest and interactive Executive Board who very successfully kept the discussions interactive. The agenda to be chewed over was The Syrian Civil War, an ongoing multi-sided civil war in Syria fought between the Ba?athist Syrian Arab Republic led by President Bashar al-Assad, along with domestic and foreign allies, and various domestic and foreign forces opposing both the Syrian government and each other in varying combinations. The session of un-moderated caucus was the event of the day where each delegate opened up and expressed their views without the interference of EB. The debate was a fiery one. The day was full of learning experience for all the delegates

MARVEL VS DC
The first hour of the afternoon of October 15TH, 2019 marked the commencement of the first session of the unique committee, 'Marvel vs. DC' at IMS Model United Nations. The uniqueness of this committee was indicated not only thorough the portfolios of the delegates but also through the interesting crisis they had to find a solution for. The crisis involved the crash landing of an unidentified vessel that contained characters from a parallel universe. According to the characters, an entity by the name of Grandmaster had destroyed their Earth and could do the same to the two earths inhabited by Marvel and DC characters respectively. To discuss this crisis, the committee began with the Opening Statements from a variety of characters. The Session ended with an Un-Moderated Caucus to find a solution for the crisis in hopes of solving the issue.
