Career Development Centre organized the workshop on 'Team Management and Emotional Intelligence' on 18 October, 2019 for the students of BBA & BCA. The objective of the workshop was to discern the significance of team management and emotional intelligence in professional as well personal lives. It was conducted by Dr. Deepali Monga , International Corporate Trainer and Ms. Shefali Monga. The management games accentuated on the strategies, to overcome the challenges of working in a team, by managing emotions of oneself and others around. The session focused on developing techniques to manage negative emotions and transforming them into positive ones. Dr. Deepali touched on pertinent pillars of emotional intelligence - self awareness, self regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. Students learnt the importance of taking charge of their emotions to be a true, effective and empathetic leader. She also shared NLP techniques to train one's mind in different situations, while raising significant techniques on self introspection.

CDC Team extended a note of gratitude to Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director, IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus, for her great support. Dr. Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA, Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee, Coordinator-BBA Final Year, Dr. Gagan Varshney, Chairperson BCA, Dr. Alok- Coordinator, BCA Second Year, motivated the students to come out of their comfort zones. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Priyanka Sadhna, Chairperson CDC, wherein she encouraged the students to accelerate their growth .Ms Sapna Kumar, Ms. Raunak Bhardwaj and Ms. Anuradha Bhardwaj executed the programmed effectively. Career Pathway Club members namely- Nishtha , Shivi, Rajat, Aishwarya, Yashika, Anurag, Anmol ,Prakshal& Naman coordinated the programme with utmost efficiency. EWL student members -Sumit Chaurasiya and Sarthak Prathapanand along with staff member -Mr. Ajay, IT Team managed the programme well with unwavering attention.
