Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized an industrial visit to All India Radio (Akashvani) on November 06, 2019 for the second year BJMC students. A special program, regarding the forthcoming Children's Day, was organized at the venue. The guest was the Noble laureate (Peace) Mr. Kailash Satyarthi. Throughout the two-hour session that was anchored by Ms. Rajshree Trivedi, the guest answered the questions raised by the students and gave certain insights of his journey in safeguarding children from labour, abuse and illiteracy. He also vividly described how his Global March against Child Labour in 103 countries led to the adoption of an international Law. He added that one should always believe that a determined heart, assures the victory. The students were accompanied by RJ Khursheed Alam (Radio Jockey at AIR and Assistant Professor, Department of J&MC). It was a memorable experience and an honour to meet a personality of such a humble and benevolent lifestyle.
