In continuation of industry engagement initiatives, School of Information technology at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized an industrial visit to "Training Basket", Sector-62, Noida for the students of BCA IInd year students Section A on 17/01/2020. The strength of the student was 28. Training Basket is an ISO 9001-2015 certified company specializes in providing state-of-art technical training on all popular IT technologies available globally. At Training Basket, resource person Mr. Amit Sharma, a certified CISCO instructor, took the session on "Cisco Technology & Security". He talked about OSI Model, network, router, TCP/UDP and also demonstrates these with a practical on Cisco Packet Tracer by configuring two networks through router. The speaker emphasized that networking has emerged as one of the key areas where students can build their career in industry.

The students had gone through the training session on AWS and Cloud Computing by experienced trainer Mr. Arun Kumar Ojha (Technical Manager & Cloud Consultant). He also discussed regarding current IT trends, how to get placement, key concepts for success and answered number of queries posted by the students. After the training session students had been taken to the visit of the different IT companies located in that tower. The session was ended with the group photograph with students. Then, all were moved for the refreshment. Industrial Visit helps the students to fill gap between the course curriculum and latest market technology. Such visits give the students an insight of trending technologies of IT industry.
