"Communication-the human connecting-is the key to personal and career success"-Paul J Meyer

IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised Buzz Communication week from January 13,2020 to January 17,2020 .The objective of this to bring the awareness among the students on importance of communication and how it helps them to enhance their communication skills. The various activities planned are Word o Word, Musical Puzzle, Google it, Newspaper Game, Dumb Charade, Tongue Twisters, Guess the brand and Synonyms vs Antonyms. More than 200 + students actively participated in each activity wholeheartedly each day and learned about the various ways that helps them in enhancing their communication skills.

Day 1 January 13, 2020 (Monday) INAUGURAL
The event was inaugurated with the grand opening by Treasurer CA Dr. Rakesh Chharia ,IMS group of Institution along with foreign delegates from Ukraine, Director Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Dr.Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA Program and Dr.Shilpi Sarna, Coordinator BBA I year. They congratulate the students of BBA I year 2019-22 Batch for taking up this initiative and motivate them towards their experiential based learning.Students and faculty members participated in Word o Word where participants were given a word and they have to make as many words as they can in 60 seconds and Musical puzzle, where the lyrics of famous Hollywood and Bollywood songs were jumbled, the participants had to first arrange the song in sequence and was been asked to sing the same in 60 seconds. Both the activities witnessed more than 300 participation from the students of various courses.

Day 2 January 14,2020 (Tuesday)
The day 2 began with the activities Tongue Twisters where students were being asked to read a sentence and certain words frequently in 60 seconds and Google it where students were being asked to tell the meaning of typical words in 30 seconds. Participants were rewarded with a small gift and candy to appreciate their efforts.Both the activities witnessed more than 250 participation from the students of various courses.

Day 3 January 16, 2020 (Thursday)
The day 3 began with Dumb Charade, Team Game where students were being asked to guess the names of famous Personalities and famous Hollywood and Bollywood movies. The one person has to act and other person has to guess in 60 seconds.The other activity was Guess the Brand name with Tagline where students were being given a tagline of various famous brands and students were asked to tell the company name in 30 seconds. Participants were rewarded with a small gift and candy to appreciate their efforts.Both the activities witnessed more than 300 participation from the students of various courses.

Day 4 January 17, 2020 (Friday)
The day 4 began with Newspaper Game where students had to select a letter out of jumbled alphabets and they were asked to find out the as many words as they can from the newspaper in 60 seconds. The other activity was Synonyms and Antonyms where participants were asked to write the right antonyms and synonyms in stipulated time.Participants were rewarded with a small gift and candy to appreciate their efforts.Both the activities witnessed more than 250 participation from the students of various courses.

Buzz Week Closing Ceremony January 21,2020(Tuesday)
The Closing Ceremony of buzz communication week was organised on January 21,2020 in presence of Dr.Sapna Rakesh, Director IMS UC, Dr.Geeti Sharma, Chairperson BBA Program, Dr.Shilpi Sarna , Coordinator BBA 1 year, Faculty members ,students of BBA I year and II year. Dr.Sapna Rakesh congratulated the BBA I year students for their initiative and successfully organising various activities that was a great learning experience specially for the students of BBA I Year 2019-22 Batch. The coordinators of Buzz week were felicitated with letter of appreciation and a memento for their hard work and dedication for making this event a grand success.
