"CLIP-O-CLICK"

The activity CLIP-O-CLICK (Collage Making Competition) was organized by FINANZA (The finance Club). Collage is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. The term collage (from the French: coller, "to glue";) was coined by both Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso in the beginning of the 20th century when collage became a distinctive part of modern art. A collage may sometimes include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, paint, bits of colored or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects, glued to a piece of paper. The competition started at 2 P.M. All the participants brought the newspapers, magazines, scissors and other raw materials and grabbed their seats. The time allotted was one hour to make collage and then at 3 P.M, all participants move to MDP room for the presentation. Participants were given ample opportunities to showcase their creativity followed by the theme. All the students participated enthusiastically along with competitive spirit. Mr. Sanjay Sharma and CA Anu Tyagi judged the students. The criteria of judgment were Creativity, Theme and Presentation.
