Department of Journalism & Mass Communication at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized a workshop on T.V and Stage Anchoring. The session was taken over by Ms. Tapsaya Shaadaan. She is one of the most reputed anchors at DD national channel. She is also working with FM Rainbow as her voice is bliss to the ears. Chairperson of the department, Prof. Girish Kumar Singh felicitated the guest with an eco-friendly sapling. The session was divided into two parts. In the first part, the students were given basic general knowledge that makes a good anchor. Ms. Tapasaya informed the students about the difference in voice and emphasized the topic of confidence. The students were told to have an ample amount of knowledge about each and everything. Weak general knowledge gives a drawback and takes away great opportunities from students. Ms. Tapasaya also told about how great celebrities were once struggling in the field but their zeal to work kept them working. She motivated the students about the importance of clean surrounding, as she is associated with Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, and how she never misses a chance to sensitize students about the clean surrounding. Ms. Tapasaya encouraged the students about the Hindi language and how we must promote our values. At the end of the session, Prof. Khursheid Alam explained his experience with Ms. Tapasaya at FM Rainbow. All in all, it was a great learning experience for all
