Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of IMS UC Campus organised a talk on the topic, "Strategic Importance of India - Role and Responsibilities of Indian Industries, Society , Teachers and Government in dealing with Economic Slowdown in the Changing Economic Scenario". Initially the anchor explained about Strategic Importance of India and its present economic condition. It was followed by speeches by a four membered panel who briefly described about the roles and responsibilities of various fields that included society, teachers and the government. A description was also given about what is being done ,and what can be done for India's economic growth. Payodhi Chaturvedi and Anshika Jain explained that the society needs to be responsible and to be on their toes when it comes to paying their taxes on time. Riya Sharma , in her speech indicated that teachers need to give awareness and inculcate good citizen qualities in children from a minor age. On the behalf of the government, Devanshi Sharma told that plans and schemes will be continued to be made but citizens cooperation is mandatory. The talk show was anchored by Anushka of BJMC-I year , camera handled by Praful Verma of BJMC-II year and the panel included Payodhi Chaturvedi, Anshika Jain, Riya Sharma and Devanshi Sharma of BJMC-I year. It was a great learning experience for the students as they practiced about how to behave in front of the camera and how to speak confidently with facts and figures.
