JavaScript is a scripting language which can be included directly into HTML pages. It enhances user interface and functionality of websites. JavaScript is one of the most popular programming languages primarily used to create web applications and therefore there is huge demand in the industry for JavaScript professionals.

Keeping this in view, BCA department of IMS, Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized Four days online workshop on “JavaScript” from 6th May to 9th May 2020 for all the interested students of Institute. Total 67 students of different courses registered for the workshop. The aim of this workshop was to introduce the participants to JavaScript and educate them about its versatility as a scripting language & its applications. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Alok Singh Chauhan, Assistant Professor-IT.

In this workshop, the students were introduced to topics JavaScript. Students got an idea how to work with scripting language to develop application. Various hands-on excercises were provided to students through which they can able to apply javascript codes for devloping various applications. It was very informative and a great learning experience for students. All the students really appreciated the contents that were discussed, they realized that interactions likes these can help them improve their learning. Students showed keen interest in attending more advanced workshops like this in future.
