Panel Discussion on Effect of lockdown on Health, Economy and Education (Day 1)

The day marked the opening of the “SERIES OF PANEL DISCUSSION�, an initiative by the Journalism and Mass Communication Department of IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus. The same was held on online meeting platform of Zoom App due to the lockdown because of COVID-19 pandemic.

The first panel was held on the topic – ‘EFFECTS OF LOCKDOWN ON HEALTH, ECONOMY AND EDUCATION’ , it was anchored by Anushka and the panel included Payodhi Chaturvedi, Devanshi Sharma and Vidhi Saxena; all from I-Year of BJMC.

It was quite an informative session since all the panelists had a strong research and presented cut-to-cut facts and figures leaving the audience with no questions. The audience consisted of the BJMC faculty members and all year students.

The panel concluded that though lockdown is one of the most important weapons fighting the COVID-19 it is also affecting other fields of life that cannot be ignored.

Learning Outcome: This panel acted as a mock T.V. panel and also connecting over a new web platform added to their experience. The students were at profit as they came to know more about the language to use, the diction, pronunciation and pauses in their speech when participating or anchoring any such panel discussions.
