With a strong sense of purpose and the intent to influence the startup climate, cultivate the spark of entrepreneurial values among young minds who will be leading the path to New India, E-cell at IMS Ghaziabad university courses campus in association with Cybercart came with an event titled ? e-Haat ? An Online Marketing Platform to cater the aspirations and needs of small business entrepreneurs and start-up founders. It aimed to identify innovations and startups, materialize the avenue to provide exposure, education and capacity building besides mentoring and incubation for startups. A Friday afternoon e-Haat provides an opportunity to all the budding entrepreneurs to become a disruptive force and contribute to the development of the people and society. It was indeed a moment of honour and pride to see the budding entrepreneurs taking tiny steps to establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs. A wide Variety of products were displayed at the e-Haat viz. paintings, hand-made gift items, chocolates and confectionaries, readymade garments & apparels and many more. The participants were judged by a panel of judges on the basis of various criteria such as innovation, business potential and relevance to theme followed by Q&A session. Ms. Savi Mehrotra (Lead Design Consultant/Founder, Adesa Design Studio), Mr. Arpit Jain (MD, SAARP Electricals Pvt. Ltd.) and Prof. Subhro Sengupta (Academician, IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus) were the esteemed Jury members for the day.The winners will get the opportunity to sell their product on the online marketing portal provided by CYBERKART India. The judges also guided the contestants from time to time with their expert suggestions for further improvement. After a stiff competition the winners of the event entailed: ? The event was ended with closing address by Dr. Geeti Sharma (Chairperson- BBA) wherein she heartily congratulated the winners and participants and declared the e-Haat closed with the hope that next time it will be even bigger and better for the Institute and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. With the help of a dedicated team of faculty, staff and students the event was executed with precision bringing glory to each one associated with the program.
