Summary of Republic Day Celebration

The Republic Day celebration was organized with great enthusiasm on the front lawns of the institution. The program commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem, creating a patriotic and respectful atmosphere. The Parade and Guard of Honour was conducted by all club cabinet members to formally welcome the Director, Prof. Dr. Jaskiran Kaur. She addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of constitutional values, unity, and the role of youth in nation-building. The ceremony continued with the symbolic release of tri-colour balloons accompanied by Vande Mataram, marking a proud and memorable beginning to the celebration.

The heritage segment was coordinated by the Heritage Club (Cultural Club and Music Club) and showcased the diverse talents of the students. It began with a vibrant folk dance celebrating India’s regional heritage, followed by a patriotic poetry recitation and melodious musical performances by both boys and girls. A graceful classical performance added elegance to the program. Students also delivered thoughtful speeches reflecting on Republic Day, the Constitution, and the responsibilities of citizens, which inspired the audience with their meaningful messages. A special women empowerment dance further emphasized the strength, confidence, and progress of women in society. Dr  Monil Arora, Ms Tripti Goyal, Ms Sudha Chaturvedi, Ms Tanushree Chaterjee and Ms Archana Gupta were the faculty coordinators for the event.

The latter part of the celebration featured solo singing and group singing performances that promoted unity and teamwork among students. The event concluded with an energetic flash mob and a group photograph, and refreshments boxes were distributed to all the students and faculty members, bringing the program to a joyful and satisfying close.

Learning Outcomes:
