Summary of the event: 

Department of Management at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized a Peer Enrichment Session on Integrating Current Business Dynamics to Classroom Learning: Maximizing Student Engagement in association with research cell on 4th May, 2026. The session as undertaken by CA CMA Vikrant Singh, faculty in the area of finance at the Department of Management to help other team members learn the new age pedagogical tools for enhanced class engagement to even generate interest of the backbenchers in the class. The session provided an understanding of how current business affairs can be collaborated with the theory of the subject for generating curiosity of the average and below average students and help them get oriented towards academics. 

The resource person discusses the same with the help of the current geo-political case of Iran-Israel-USA conflict impacting global supply chain and how it has impact on various subjects like Economics, Finance, Operations, International Business, HRM and also Supply Chain. Considering the poor level of attention span of the young students today, faculty can generate interest among the class by helping them read business newspapers and connect the dots of the subjects. The session helped faculty members from all the domains to evaluate the relevance of new methods of teaching and engaging that can be imbibed in any subject and field.

• To apply practical and theory underpinning together for better class delivery and effectiveness
• To develop the habit of business newspaper reading among the students to enhance their analytical skills
