IMS UC Campus organized a Guest lecture for MIB 1st year students on 25th August 2020. IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus always directs to provide their students, enormous learning from the experiences of the tremendous business models who have set up a benchmark in their fields to which they are associated.
Today’s session was commenced at 12:00 p.m. through a warm greeting note by Prof. Komal Kapoor for the guest speaker, Mr Sahil Sharma, Business Head at Innovations Group UAE having experience of working in India and UAE for leading HR services and organisations globally. Mr Sahil unfurled his life experiences and impediments with the saying that if you have a strong belief in yourself and always remain consistent towards your work you will surely explore, no matter what you did and from where you belong. He also shared his success mantra with the students that how keeping good aspiration, hard work, self-discipline and being consistent led his journey from an average student to a business head. Besides, Mr Sahil Sharma also mentioned certain skills that every management student must work on. Such as:
• Presentation skills.
• Goal-oriented personality.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Time management and,
• Ability to think big.
Towards the end of the session he further quoted that "A healthy mind stays in a healthy body" and also it enriches your positivity and confidence.
The session added various values to the life of students and helped in transforming their young minds to be more creative and credible towards the endeavour. Certain queries were raised by the students which were very well taken by the speaker and as per the student's feedback; the session was very much informative and full of morale.
