The sports day was exclusively organized for faculty and staff members of IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus. All the members played and enjoyed the different traditional & fun games like cricket, badminton, carom, chess, Kho-Kho, the tug of war and the race with tyre.
Dr B.P. Pethiya, Director, IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus told that the motive of organizing such events was to give the relaxation and energize faculty and staff members from the day-today work. The participants showed their intense interest and participated enthusiastically in sports contests. This kind of Sports Meet was organized for the first time in the campus.
Mr. Girish Kumar & team was the champion in the cricket match. Mr. Naresh Chaudhary and Ms. Sakshi won the men’s and women’s single badminton events while Mr. Yudhishthir Yadav and Mr. Naresh Chaudhary won men’s double and Ms. Pooja Rastogi and Mr Naresh Chaudhari won the mixed double badminton events respectively. Ms. Pooja Rastogi and Ms. Neeru Sawhney was the champion in carom and Mr. Sachin Sinha won the chess event. Dr Kunwarveer Singh was champion in the race with tyre in the male category while his team was the winner in Kho-Kho and tug of war contest. Ms Deepshikha Rai won the tyre race in the female category.
