BEYOND THE VOICE (SINGING COMPETITION)

Music binds our soul, hearts and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. Unlike the past, Music club has once again raised the bar high by putting up an outstanding Singing Competition “Beyond the Voice”, organized on 1st October 2020. The event carried the unique theme to allow participants to showcase their talents. The participants had to sing a song of their choice but NOT just a simple cover—an impressive new version. It could be Rap version or a Rock version, or one could sing it to any other known tune. The students sung the songs with the great musicianship and surprisingly excelled the major twist also.
Music was in the air throughout the evening, it was fascinating to witness all the participants to put up quite a magnificent performance and each one was outstanding and kept the audience enthralled.
To make the event more amusing club members encouraged the participants by their pleasing performances during the event. Our guest of the event Mr. Rahul also presented a diverting performance, making the event more enjoyable. Each student showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch, rhythm and tone.
The competition was made challenging by the participants who were extremely talented.
The audience and all the participants enjoyed the whole event which was really awe -inspiring. President, Miss Anuradha and the supremely talented club member Siddhi gaur ended the event with their fantabulous performance. The whole club was overwhelmed and fortunate after receiving the favorable response.
The musical evening concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the Club Head Prof. Akanksha Jain, appreciating the efforts put in by the students in making the event a grand success.
