MATHEDO

THE MATHEMANIA CLUB of IMSUC came up with the idea of organizing an activity (mathematical snake & ladder competition) “MATHEDO”, which provided a platform for the students to show their zeal for growing and learning. An invitation mail was shared in which interested candidate need to fill the google form attached in the mail.
The idea behind organizing this online activity was to encourage the students to overcome from their fear of math. The students enthusiastically participated and showcased themselves very well and also expressed their positive feedbacks. All the students put forward their best and grabbed this opportunity and showcased that they are willing enough to break out this fear of math from themself.
The main aim and emphasis of this activity was to make everyone realize that Mathemania club is not only of solving equations but also makes you able to enjoy math in a joyful manner. Screening round was conducted for the participants in which we received 38 responses out of which we have selected 16 participants for final activity, In the final activity we have created a 4 breakout rooms (each room consisted 4 participants &club coordinators) where dice was rolled by the coordinators on the behalf of participant & question was given to participant on every ladder point. We have selected 1 winner from each break out room and conducted a final match between them and declared the winner and the 1st runner up.
The event was very well managed by the president of the club Shivani Mishra, vice president Yashika Gupta and secretary Sanchit Kumar along with other team members under the guidance of the club head Prof. Divya Sharma.
