At Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus, a seminar about Startup India was organized by the Management Department. where approximately 50 BBA final year students and members of it have participated successfully. As a spoke-person, Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee (Associate Professor, IPEM, Ghaziabad) described the objectives of the workshop and why it?s necessary for the budding and interested entrepreneurs. She deliberated on the startup India scheme launched by the government of India on 16 January 2016. She enlightened the audience by detailing about the brilliant initiative of ingenious programs that constitutes a far-fetched image which can be a reality for these new-thinkers and self-leaders. She also elaborated that how this upsurge supports the new-age entrepreneurs, can create employment opportunities for the overall growth of economy, by active participation to transform nation?s corporate or industrial environment with their unique ideas. Through serving the purpose of being tech-friendly, self-employment and talent utilization, tax exemptions on startup for 3 years, many more such adequate information for the benefit of these students or members that thrives the practical knowledge as well. The student participants showed full interest, enthusiasm, attention, and dedication and interacted with the resource person during the Q&A session.
