Summary of the Event:
Web App Club organized a workshop for the first-year student of computer applications, batch 2021 - 2024 on 1st October, 2021. The session began with the introduction of topic by Prof. Meghna Gupta, Web App Club Coordinator. The objective of the workshop was to provide insights about how a web page works and how to create a website using HTML & CSS. The session started with the brief introduction of HTML&CSS. HTML is the set of markup symbols or codes inserted into a file intended for display on the Internet. The markup tells web browsers how to display a web page's words and images. The speaker gave practical demonstration about how to create a website as well as How to decorate it using CSS. They talked about how to create a web page with magnificent colors, lists, button, font, table, etc. It was good learning experience for everyone.
Learning Outcome:
The workshop on HTML/CSS was indeed a wonderful learning experience and we all got to learn so many wonderful concepts of HTML/CSS and how we can use it for the various purposes, by getting an insight into the pool of knowledge, delivered through the workshop.
