REPORT On Finance Literacy Guest Lecture

 ?A Good financial plan is a road map that shows us exactly how the choices we make today will affect our future?

Summary of the Event:

Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Financial literacy is the foundation of your relationship with money, and it is a lifelong journey of learning. With this objective IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus has organized a Guest lecture session on ?Need of financial literacy and modern tools of portfolio management for young management students? for students of MIB batch (2021-23) on 20-December-2021. The session began with the warm welcome of honorable Guest Mr. Vivek Sharma by presenting the memento to him as a token of respect and gratitude.

He commenced the session with call for the student?s future strategy of handling their financial portfolio. Further, he gave the depth knowledge of financial planning and what are the various methods of it. He told about the various financial tools where a person should invest with the benefits and outcomes of each tool. He made understood the student the importance of starting early investment, in that he explained short term, mid- term and long term financial goals and how we can manage our portfolio to meet the financial goals in coming future. He told about one of the most popularly used investment tool SIP (Systematic investment plan) and how it is better and how risk can be hedge.

Ability to make a better financial decision and effective management of money and debt. With this learning, the session was coming to end by figuring out the queries of students, overall it was knowledgeable and great learning session for everyone.
