REPORT OF MUSIC CLUB EVENT FIESTA FEST

With its rhythm, music functions as therapy, calming the mind and igniting new vitality. The Music Club offers a welcoming stage for music lovers to participate and display their musical talent while also dipping their toes into the musical ocean. Students gather there to jam, learn, and create music of many genres. The club organises a wide range of events throughout the year, from impressive performances to intense musical competitions, fruitful musical events to preparing students to perform well in national competitions.  The aim of this club is to educate young people about the history and beauty of Indian classical music and culture.

To keep the music alive during these unprecedented pandemic times, Music club organized another amazing competition “Fiesta -Fest” a solo singing competition' which was held on 14^th October 2022, behind the MDP room opposite the ground. In this event, there was huge number of participants. Many students gave their best in which there were top 5 students who won the competition as winners and active participation. One of the most remarkable things of this event was the Students’ Band performance and they named as NEEV. The best part of the event was the last section in which some faculties came to stage and sang for the audience which gave a lot of enjoyment among them. Jahanvi Singh from BBA bagged winning position, Sneha Dhiman from B.Sc. Microbiology were first runner up and Siddhant Singh from BBA was declared as the second runner up. In addition consolation prizes were given to Prity raj (BBA) and Aishwarya Kaushik (B.Sc. Microbiology)
