Report of BIG IDEAS CLUB organised the activity “BATTLE OF BIDS” on 28 March 2022

BIG IDEAS CLUB of IMS, GHAZIABAD (University Courses Campus) organized BATTLE OF BIDS its first event of 2022 on 28^TH MARCH. The objective of this activity is to provide platform to the students where they can test their knowledge and analytical skills in most fun and practical way and to analyses the Emotional Quotient, Intelligent Quotient of participants.

The event has to be done in two rounds. First round is the online eliminating round done on 25^th march, 2022 where all the participants have to answer 20 questions in the given deadline of the cricketing domain. Teams of four members who have responded in least time with most correct answers will qualify for the second round. Out of all participating teams only 5 teams will be selected for the final and main round.

The main event was started by the introduction given by BIDDER of the auction. He explained all rules and regulations for the smooth flow of event. There were total of 5 teams - DELHI, PUNJAB, CHENNAI, MUMBAI, PUNE consisting 4 members and each team have budget of 4000 points to buy players to form their playing 11. Every team has to be very attentive and practical to buy best players in affordable price. Whole event was lively as every team has decided their strategies and they are following it, also audience is actively participating by supporting them and cheering for them. In the later stage bidder change the dynamic of the game by eliminating some players but every team took this challenge positively and changes their strategies accordingly.

The event was coordinated well by whole big ideas club under the mentorship of our faculty coordinator Prof Nidhi Sharma and big ideas club promises to come up with more such interesting activities.

The Winning team is “DELHI DYNAMOS” and the members of the team are ABHINAV MISHRA, KESHAV AGARWAL, RAJ PRAKASH, AYUSH GUPTA.
