The department of journalism and mass communication has organized a guest lecture on the topic "News Value and Television Journalism" on 21st April 2017 by inviting Dr. Surya Prakash who is a Professor in Makhan Lal Chaturvedi Patrakarita Vishvavidhalya , Bhopal. Dr. Surya Prakash has more than 10 years of experience in teaching, also wrote books and made documentaries. Dr. Surya Prakash enlightened the students about the Value of News and Television Journalism in media industry and gave a practical knowledge about the challenges faced by media person during the collection of news and make the students aware about the present scenario of television and also highlighted the topics related to the current news. The session ended with the lot of aggressively queries by the students. It was a very helpful and enlightening session for all the students of journalism and mass communication department.
