Bionic Club from School of Biosciences organized a guest lecture on "Current prospects of research in Biotechnology". The lecture was delivered by Dr. Vivek Dixit, Research Scientist from Department of Orthopaedics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He motivated the students and tried to incline them towards active research in the field of Biosciences. Dr. Dixit also shared his experience during his research on epidemiology from University of Southampton, UK and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford University Hospitals, UK. Besides his academic career, Dr. Dixit has a great passion for saving river Yamuna from environmental hazards. In 2013, the leading newspaper Indian Express honoured him as "River Doctor".
