Department of Journalism and Mass Communication Organized a Film Appreciation for students of BJMC IInd and IIIrd year on September 1, 2017. Students watched the movie 'October Sky' which was based on real life story. This appreciation aims to help students develop a range of analytical skills for the study of film that will deepen their understanding and appreciation of narrative cinema. So, the students will enable to be fluent in the basic vocabulary of film form; recognize different modes and styles within narrative film; understand the relationship between film form, film style, and interpretation & finally, become familiar with key aesthetic concepts for categorizing and understanding films.
