"GET SET GO FOR A CAREER NOT A DEGREE"

IMS UC Campus organized guest lecture by Mr. Vivek Verma on the topic "Get set go for a career not a degree" for MIB Batch 2018-2020 on 28.07.2018. It was started with an informal introduction. All the students were asked to mention an adjective which defines their uniqueness along with their respective names. Mr. Vivek used the adjective "useless" for his name.
After that to test the attentiveness of the students he conducted a game in which the winners were presented with a chocolate. He guided the students about the EMPLOYABILTY SKILLS the industry is looking which includes-
In-depth knowledge
Teamwork
Initiative
Gratitude towards seniors etc.
The point which he highlighted is SCOPE IN THE INDUSTRY. He let the students know about the scope in various specialization be it Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, Operations and Human resource. He also shared his experience in the industry from past 9 years. Currently he is associated with EPAM organization in Pune. The another important point on which he threw the light is DOs AND DONTs OF THE INTERVIEW which is as follows

He sums up the lecture with a lot of motivation & enthusiasm and helped the students in understanding the industry in a better way.
