Guest Lecture on Channel Management

Management Department of IMS, Ghaziabad (University Courses Camus) organized a guest lecture by Mr. Sanjay Khaturia, Channel Leader of Watson & Cloud Platform for India and South-East Asia at IBM India on the topic "Channel Management and Effective Selling Technique". Mr. Khaturia's dexterity encompasses the service ecosystem of various portfolios at IBM. He holds an extensive experience in ICT-Cloud & Cognitive Industry for more than a period of 17 years. His previous commitments were served with firms like Tata Communications and Microsoft.
He disseminated wisdom on various verticals of Sales and Distribution. He commenced his discussion with the various intermediaries in the channels of distribution. He also highlighted the various tips related to sales. A few of his remarkable tips were; (a) find out all you can (b) practice a powerful introduction (c) Ask questions and (d) sell your price. He also shared his invaluable experience of one of his corporate clients and re-iterated his unique abilities to convert and creation of sales pitch. The session was a thrilling and mind boggling experience for the students.
The guest lecture was followed by a short felicitation ceremony and vote of thanks by Dr. Geeti Sharma. The students and the management faculty members were very much obliged and demanded more sessions on the same.
