Journalism & Mass Communication Department at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) conducted a Guest Lecture by Mr. YogendraTiku on Film & Acting on 9th September 2019. Mr. YogendraTiku is an acclaimed Indian film, television and stage actor and has been successful in entertainment industries including theatre plays, TV serials and Bollywood movies, like No One Killed Jessica, Queen, Neerja, Parmanu to name a few. Mr. Tiku has been involved with theatre since childhood. He acted in various Hindi, Punjabi and Gujarati plays. He attended GandharvaMahaVidyalaya of Ahmedabad and learned Indian classical music and has sung many jingles. He is also an "A" grade Drama Voice of All India Radio (AIR) and has acted in various plays broadcast by AIR.Mr. YogendraTiku shared some interesting anecdotes on acting with the students and spoke about where he began from, what is his process of approaching a scene and lots more. The students thoroughly enjoyed the Guest Lecture. Learning Outcome: Students got to know about the hard work and passion needed for Film and TV Acting, Students learned the difference between Theatre,TV and Film Acting.
