Sing Dil Se

Music binds our soul, hearts and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact, through singing students learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students an event "Sing Dil Se" was organized on 15 November 2019. Students of all courses participated in the competition. The criteria of the event were something like this: the participant had to sing at most any two songs as by his/her choice with good rhythm and tone. The students sang the songs with a lot of passion, confidence and feeling. Some Club members also performed during the event without participating in the competition. Besides this, some students sang melodious songs which pulled the heartstrings of the audience. Each student showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch, rhythm and tone. The students showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self-confidence, as a result of the competition. The club coordinator, Prof. Sandhya Sharma and the Assistant Professor Akriti Raturi were the judges of this competition. A musical chair activity was also organized for the entertainment of the students but in this activity there was a twist, when students were moving around the chairs while song was playing, during this a chit was placed on any one chair and if any student sit on that chair when song stops, he/she had to sing the song which was written on that chit. Students enjoyed this activity very much and gifts were also given to the last three winners. Overall it was a mind-blowing event and all the students enjoyed the event to the fullest.
