IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised HR Innovation Day on January 13,2020 from 2:00pm onwards. The students of HR Specialisation, BBA 2018-21 Batch demonstrated the 5s in each departments of IMSUC. 5s (Total Quality Management) is workplace management where the work area and workplace are organised and ritualised to minimise the loss of time and the use of movement and are universally applicable in every business. 5s is much more than 'a place for everything and everything in its place'. The objective of this training session is to help faculty members and staff to do perfect work every time. The students along with their team leaders visited the Director's office, Registrar's office,Front office, EWL, Faculty Area(Ground Floor, First Floor, IIFloor, III Floor,IV Floor), Admission, Library, CDC/CRC, Faculty Biosciences & Studio to train each one present in the campus on 5s. Students also awarded the faculty members and staff with certificate of appreciation for implementing 5s in their workplace. The session ended with great zeal among the students and on a gratitude note to HR Team by Prof.Vanchan Tripathi.
Learning Outcome:
Students developed an insight on 5s and its importance at workplaces.This session also helped the students in enhancing their communication skills and to be a better corporate trainer .
