Intellectual Property Right (IPR) Cell

"Invent it, Patent it, Protect it!"

Intellectual property (IP) refers to various distinct types of creations of the mind: inventions, literary, artistic works, symbols, names, images, and designs; for which a set of exclusive rights like copyrights, trademarks, patents, industrial design rights and trade secrets are recognized under the corresponding fields of law.

Background
It was observed that many students are unaware of the IP rights. Many of the intellectual possessions are not nourished due to the lack of understanding of the importance of IPR. For this reason, IPR cell can contribute knowledge about IPR and aid in filing of patent applications and filing other forms of IPR. IPR cell functions in collaboration with the Research Committee, E cell and IQAC cell of the college.
